Junior ERP Analyst (m/f/d)

Responsibilities

The Junior ERP Analyst supports the implementation, operation and continuous improvement of Exaktera's ERP systems across its global businesses. The role has a strong functional focus on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and supports system configuration, testing and UAT, data migration, user support, documentation and user training. The role works closely with the ERP Implementation Manager, business users and external implementation partners to support successful ERP deployments and ongoing system improvement. 

This position can be based at one of our European locations in Cork (Ireland), Freiburg or Suhl (Germany).
  • Support global ERP implementations and continuous improvement initiatives, primarily using Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
  • Carry out assigned Business Central functional configuration under the direction of the ERP Implementation Manager, with configuration changes subject to review and sign-off.
  • Create UAT test scripts, coordinate testing with business users, record defects, support retesting and track issues through to resolution.
  • Perform hands-on data migration activities, including data preparation, cleansing, validation and loading using Excel and Business Central Configuration Packages.
  • Act as a first-line contact for ERP user support, resolving appropriate issues and escalating more complex matters to the ERP Implementation Manager.
  • Create and maintain ERP SOPs, user guides, process documentation and training materials, and support delivery of user training.
  • Participate in requirements-gathering workshops as required and work with business users and implementation partners on assigned ERP activities.
  • Identify and support post-go-live continuous improvement opportunities across Exaktera sites already using the ERP platform.

Your Job Profile

  • Degree-level qualification or equivalent professional experience
  • Approximately 3 years of experience working with ERP systems, ideally including Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
  • Strong functional knowledge of Business Central and a good understanding of Finance, Sales, Purchasing, Inventory/Warehouse, and Manufacturing
  • Hands-on experience with Configuration Packages, ERP data migration, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including test execution and defect resolution
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Understanding of key business processes, including Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, Inventory/Warehouse Management, and Manufacturing
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations or other ERP platforms is an advantage
  • Fluent English communication skills, both written and spoken; German language skills are beneficial
  • Curious, proactive, and eager to continuously expand ERP knowledge and expertise
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with a structured and methodical approach
  • Ability to work independently while adhering to established processes, governance standards, and approval procedures
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
